Nursing Station Receives Generous Donation from harry & Mary Ann Debes!
Last May the project received a real boost with a generous donation of land and money by Brock and Willa Napier. Today my wife Mary Ann and I are happy to play our part. Last Friday, through our Foundation, we donated $500,000 to help realize this dream – something that will help our community for generations to come.

June 21, 2013, Port Carling - from remarks by Brock Napier
Update on Phase I - acquisition of the Land. Brock and Willa Napier closed the deal on May 30th, one day earlier than expected (more time for fundraising). The Napier's are now formalizing the transfer of the Land to the Township of Muskoka Lakes. For those not familiar with the property, it consists of 13.5 acres behind us, bordered by West Street; Hwy. #118; Bruce Wilson Drive (across from Foodland) and with frontage on the Indian River.
Now entering Phase II - one of the most exciting and challenging part of this project, “The Fundraising”. In addition to donating the land, Brock and Willa Napier are thrilled to donate:
$250,000 to the Nursing Station
$250,000 to Andy’s House, Hospice Muskoka
$250,000 to the Lions Seniors Retirement Residence
"It is our desire to see this whole project succeed and to that end, we are totally committed to be with this project throughout and to completion."
